The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has started "Hunar Se Rozgar through Hotels" scheme to meet the target of skilling 1 lac persons during the current year.
Keeping in mind the importance of Hunar Se Rozgar Tak Initiative in the larger national context, and the high expectations of it, the Ministry of Tourism has taken the scheme on a priority mode.
Members may note that while the information mentioned is for hotels, however, this can be used by restaurateurs as well. It is also clarified that the IHM will provide the facilities for the candidates to be given the classroom / test content at the institute itself, since restaurants may not have the infrastructure for the same.
The advertisements for admission in "Hunar Se Rozgar Through Hotels" have already come out on 09.1.2013 in Times of India (Page 17) and Navbharat Times (Page 10) by IHM Pusa. Restaurants are invited to visit the institute to conduct interview to select the candidates on 18.1.2013 at 2.30 pm. If the Restaurants have any candidates who reported directly to them, they may bring them to the institute on 18.1.2013 along with the relevant documents.
Attached with this mail is detailed information on the scheme. Other information on the programme is available at Ministry of Tourism website. www.tourism.gov.in (Tab on "Human Resource Development" - Compendium on Hunar Se RozgarTak).
